International Claim Association 2025 Annual Education Conference
September 28-30, 2025
Fuzion is proud to participate in the International Claim Association (ICA) 2025 Annual Education Conference, held this year in New Orleans, Louisiana. This premier forum hosts over 400 insurance claims professionals from more than 100 member companies. With a focus on advancing claims excellence through targeted education and collaboration, the event showcases innovative practices across Life, Disability, Health, Long-Term Care (LTC), and Absence Management insurance lines.
During the 2025 conference, Fuzion leaders will:
• Highlight the importance of effective communications throughout the claims process. Debbie Maas, SVP of Communications and Client Engagement, will moderate a panel on customer-centric communication strategies. This session’s panel participants will share claims communications best practices from cross-industry insights, illustrating how thoughtful claims dialogue improves outcomes in LTC, Disability, and Life insurance.
• Explore complex claims management with a key focus on critical thinking and empathy in a dynamic panel discussion including Julie Peterson, VP of Operations. Through “What would you do?” case studies, the session leaders will guide attendees in navigating ambiguous claims scenarios, documenting decisions effectively, and striking the right balance in communication—knowing when to share, when to hold back, and when to pick up the phone.
• Join industry colleagues in an interactive session, with Melody Royer, Operations Service Management Specialist, contributing to a lively, Jeopardy-style roundtable alongside industry experts. Drawing on decades of experience, Melody will examine key issues in advanced claims management, delivering practical guidance in an engaging format.
Fuzion’s claims management expertise is displayed in its suite of tailored services. From Targeted Audits and Comprehensive Reviews to Process Enhancements and Eligibility Determinations, Fuzion helps insurers mitigate risk, boost accuracy, and improve clarity across operations.
