The panel will explore a broad range of long-term care claims topics, including complex cognitive claims, regulatory considerations, documentation challenges, emerging trends, and operational best practices. This session will encourage open dialogue, practical insight sharing, and real-world strategies to support sound, consistent, and defensible claim decisions.

  • Julie Peterson will moderate a session titled “Sustaining Excellence: Talent Strategy and Operational Readiness in a Changing LTC Environment” that will focus on sustaining operational excellence. Mary Miller will be a featured speaker during this session which will explore how the Baby Boomer demographic shift is affecting long-term care claims through higher claim volume and an aging workforce, while identifying strategies to attract, develop, and retain skilled talent.
